Women and men are different and health care issues are no exception. In conjunction with the Niagara County Commission on the Status of Women, we've determined the two greatest health challenges facing women in Niagara County today are heart disease and breast cancer.

This comprehensive health directory, which includes referral information from DeGraff Memorial Hospital, Inter-Community Memorial Hospital, Lockport Memorial Hospital, Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center, and Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, will be an invaluable resource for women who need assistance in improving their overall health. It will also provide valuable information on the Wellness Council, walking trail maps, transportation information and listings of related women's organizations.

This directory isn't just for women. It's for all those people who care about women's health, whether it's a relative, friend, medical provider, pharmacist, or social worker. Women's health is an important issue on which we all need to continue working. We are proud to designate funds to help make this directory possible.
