Parkland and Nature Center. A beautiful park featuring eight lakes for fishing, canoeing, thirteen miles of maintained trails for hiking, birding, horse riding, Xcountry skiing. Sledding hill in winter. Nature Center opened most Sundays 12-4 with movies, displays and live animals at times. 545 acres of unspoiled beauty. The lakes were created as a result of mining operations. Established as a park in 1976. Has many unique geological items and is part of the migratory fly zone for birds.
